 BEER & CIDER FESTIVAL

1st TO 3rd OCTOBER 2009 IN CEMETERY PARK

last year we filled a tent in a park with beer, cider, music, food and general happiness and you flocked in and drunk us dry. So we're doing it again, only with more of everything!

We plan on opening with a choice of around 100 different real ales and around 25 different ciders & perrys, plus continental beers and fruit wine.

You will need to get a special branded festival glass for your drinks. These cost £2 and are refundable.

Our bars only accept payment in beer tokens, buy them from the sales point. This helps our volunteer staff serve you quicker.

No need to book, just turn up and pay on the gate

The Unforgiven are a Pro-Standard band playing Rock, R'n'B and Blues covers. At the beer festival they will be performing a unique acoustic set.

Fancy working the festival? Everyone involved in organising and staffing the festival are volunteer CAMRA members doing it because the believe in the event and enjoy it (and perhaps the free staff beer may also come into it). Join the team, click here for staffing information.

On the day before the festival opens, we invite in several panels of beer tasters to try all the beers in a blind tasting session and score them for things like aroma, appearance, taste and aftertaste in order to decide the winner of our beer of the festival competition.
